Inspection Plan

To insure a product will conform to the defined standards, an Inspection Plan must be developed. This plan defines how  and when parts, materials, and finished goods will be inspected.  The goal of inspection is to insure products conform to specifications and that defined processes are being followed. Such plans are product specific and may be extremely simple or very complex. Once again, scientific methods may be employed to determine how much inspection is needed for a given process and its capability.
