There are ‘smart technology’ solutions everywhere now that claim to increase your operational efficiency by up to 30%. What if it helps a shop to become 5% more efficient? What is a single percent of better efficiency worth?
This year, Noble Plastics proudly celebrates its 25th anniversary, marking a quarter-century of growth, innovation, and impact in the world of precision injection molding and automation. The journey began in 2000 when founders Missy and Scott Rogers saw an opportunity to solve manufacturing challenges that others struggled to address. What started as a small operation with a single machine and one employee has evolved into a thriving, nationally recognized company that continues to embody the entrepreneurial spirit of its founders.
From the Start
The idea for Noble Plastics was sparked when Scott, then working in the oil industry, sought a custom-molded part that no supplier could deliver to the necessary specifications. That unmet need, combined with Missy’s engineering expertise and determination, became the foundation for the business. With Missy as the company’s first and only employee in those early days, she learned every aspect of molding from the ground up. Together, Missy and Scott steadily built an organization rooted in problem-solving, technical excellence, and a relentless focus on quality. From its earliest days in a rented warehousein Scott, Louisianna, to the modern facilities it operates today, Noble Plastics has never lost sight of its commitment to doing things right. Missy and Scott were purposeful about where they chose to build the business. In 2006, they purchased the facility in Grand Coteau, within St. Landry Parish in Louisiana, the company saw an opportunity to not only to grow but to also strengthen the surrounding community. They expanded the facility in 2014 as well as purchasing anew facility in Opelousas. By establishing operations in an underserved community,Noble has been able to provide stable, good-paying jobs to people who may not otherwise have had such opportunities close to home. Beyond employment, the company has taken pride in inspiring the next generation by exposing young people to careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This commitment has created an outsized impact for the community.
Steady Growth, Strength
The company’s growth has been fueled by investments in technology, automation, and scientific molding, which have allowed it to take on complex projects across industries. Over the years, Noble has expanded its capacity, developed strong partnerships with universities and industry leaders, and built a reputation for tackling challenges with creativity and precision. Awards and recognition along the way have reflected not just technical achievement but also the company’s values of integrity, collaboration, and a dedication to community.
However, Noble Plastics’ greatest strength is its people. From the early days when the team was just a handful of employees to the talented workforce that drives the company today, their dedication, creativity, and problem-solving spirit have been the foundation of the company’s success. Every milestone over the past 25 years has been made possible by individuals who bring their skills and passion to work each day, and it is their commitment that continues to propel the company forward.
At 25 years, Noble Plastics is a very different organization than it was at its founding, yet its core remains the same. Today, the company operates with a highly skilled team, advanced molding capabilities, and a strong culture shaped by Missy and Scott’s leadership. Noble continues to set itself apart through its commitment to automation, innovative materials, and customer partnerships that extend beyond production into problem-solving and design.
A Bright Future
Looking ahead, Noble Plastics is poised for continued growth and evolution. The future will bring new opportunities in smart manufacturing, sustainability, and advanced materials, while also presenting challenges around workforce development and global competition. Noble is well prepared to meet these opportunities by leveraging the same qualities that have guided it for 25 years: ingenuity, tenacity, and a belief in building strong relationships.
As Missy and Scott reflect on the company’s journey, they often return to the values that carried them from those earliest days: do what you say you will do, care about getting it right, and create an environment where people can succeed. Those principles remain at the heart of Noble Plastics and will continue to shape its path forward.
What began as a bold idea has grown into a company that not only serves customers with excellence but strengthens its community and industry. Noble Plastics’ first 25 years are a testament to the power of vision, hard work, and innovation. As the company celebrates this milestone, it looks toward the future with the same adventurous spirit that launched it in 2000 — ready to embrace change, tackle new challenges, and continue shaping the future of manufacturing.
