PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING

With machine tonnage ranging from 35 tons to 940 tons, Noble Plastics can produce small run prototyping up to large-scale production runs of 1 million+ pieces. Advanced monitoring capabilities on all production cells to include cavity pressure, production, process and asset monitoring, all connected to our proprietary industry 4.0 application, ROC 40™. These systems facilitate advanced molding and quality processes. Robotic automation systems are standard in our facilities for part segregation, inspection, and consistent handling.

Noble Plastics has over 15 years of experience as an ITAR registered supplier with the Department of Defense. A combination of precision molding, available post-mold machining, and consistent automated handling are key when producing tightly toleranced parts.

Our climate-controlled quality lab has advanced metrology tools to include a scanning coordinate measuring machine, portable laser scanner, and precision vision systems, providing the ability to quickly inspect both simple parts and those with very complicated GD&T specifications.

AUTOMATION

Leveraging 20 years of robotics experience gained through our molding operations, Noble serves a diverse list of industries including plastics, wood, and food products. Knowing that our customers put their trust in Noble to be an agent of success, we have one simple rule. We only sell what we use in our own operations. Additionally, all of our automation system designers and technicians are required to spend time in our production operations, giving insight into the daily challenges of the operations environment. Thus,we can usually discuss the advantages of proposed products and methods with the customer watching them work on our factory floor.

Capabilities often found in our solutions include, machine tending, inspection, machine vision, assembly, part segregation, and SCADA integration.

INDUSTRY 4.0

While industry 4.0 is not something tangible you can hold in your hand, the ideas and goals behind the paradigm are an important reality of the competitive manufacturing landscape now and going forward. The concept is simple: collect data, analyze the data, and use the analysis results in an automated fashion make decisions more effectively that we can using traditional methods.
