Learn more about our certifications and compliances below.
NIST CyberSecurity Framework Compliance
The NIST Framework provides guidance to help organizations minimize cybersecurity risk. Based on existing standards, guidelines, and best practices, the framework facilitates risk management and cybersecurity communications between internal and external stakeholders.
As NIST is not a regulatory agency, the implementation of the Framework is voluntary.
At Noble Plastics, we apply the NIST Framework in all of our systems to ensure top-level security for our partners.
CMMC: Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification
Designed to protect sensitive unclassified information shared between the Department of Defense and related contractors, CMMC Compliance is defined by three main objectives:
- To protect sensitive defense information from cyberattacks and nation-state actors.
- To create a unifying cybersecurity standard for defense contractors.
- To ensure accountability for defense companies that are responsible for protecting government data.
Noble Plastics ensures compliance with CMMC cybersecurity standards for all Department of Defense contractors.
ITAR: International Traffic in Arms Regulations
ITAR is a set of government regulations on exports, re-exports, and temporary imports of defense materials and services. Designed to control and limit access to certain technologies and related data resources, ITAR applies to everything from munitions and ground vehicles to informal collaborations and the manufacture of defense items.
Noble Plastics has been ITAR registered as a provider of precision plastic components since the early 2000s. We ensure full ITAR compliance in all military injection molding operations.
